  • EveryBODY is different. Some clients have met their goals after the 1st session while others may develop a long standing relationship transitioning from Physical Therapy to Private Fitness. It all depends on your goals, your motivation, and your need for accountability. Most follow ups last 45-60 minutes.

  • No, North Carolina is a direct access state which means a physician prescription is not required (but welcomed) to initiate physical therapy services therefore expediting access to care. If I am your first level provider, my doctorate level education allows me to diagnose if your issue is truly musculoskeletal or neuromuscular in nature, and the ability to determine if services indicated are outside a physical therapist's scope of practice.

  • Yes. we are a participating provider with Medicare Part B and we are out of network with commercial and medicare advantage as well as supplemental plans. As a courtesy, we are happy to verify and explain your out of network insurance benefits.

  • At Meaningful Movement, we believe in cost transparency and your right to shop for high quality, cost-effective services. We will be happy to provide you with a “Good Faith Estimate” of our costs upon request or upon scheduling. Our current prompt pay rate is $155 for Physical Therapy Initial Evaluation & Treatment with additional package options for Follow-up Sessions. If you have out of network Physical Therapy benefits, you may then self-submit your superbills to go towards your deductible and out of pocket max. Eligibility for reimbursement will be dependent on your progress towards your benefits package and your insurer. One of our goals is transparency with your investment in your health and helping you understand your insurance benefits to the best of our ability.
