Specialty Services & Diagnoses
Meaningful Movement provides a detailed, movement-based evaluation and hands-on examination to determine the why behind your symptoms. We connect what you feel, how you move, and what we find to create a clear, personalized path forward. From day one, our providers guide you with education and prescriptive movement to promote the changes you want to feel and see.
Physical Therapy
Our Physical Therapy services focus on how your body moves as a whole system, addressing the spine, hips, pelvis, and areas where pain may be referred or interconnected.
We commonly address:
Back and spine-related pain
Hip and pelvic dysfunction
Neck pain and headaches
Referred pain and movement imbalances
Dizziness and vestibular concerns
Core coordination and pressure management
Treatment may include hands-on manual therapy, dry needling, and prescriptive movement tailored specifically to your body and goals. We integrate movement-based strategies and Pilates-informed care, including use of the reformer when appropriate, to build strength, control, and long-term resilience.
Client Experience
““... She is always tailoring my workouts to challenge me and also watches/teaches the importance of form. I used to worry about my low back issues with Pilates but Crystal has taught me how to use Pilates to strengthen my low back and all the muscles that help prevent low back pain…!””
Headaches & Spine Pain
Is your back pain, neck pain, or headache a distraction throughout your day? Do you wake with stiffness in the morning? Do you feel like you are constantly tight and need to stretch? Does your pain increase after being in one position after a prolonged period of time? Do you avoid activities you love for fear of flaring your pain?
Back pain, neck pain, or headaches can be almost a daily occurrence for some or episodic for others…but it doesn’t have to be! Pain can be localized or at times referred to our legs, arms, head with or without numbness and tingling. Our thorough assessment identifies joint restrictions, soft tissue restrictions, nerve irritation, and/or postural weakness that is causing your symptoms. We have helped many avoid surgery and get back to unrestricted movement with treatment including manual therapy, dry needling, as well as progressive strengthening and stabilization programs on and off the pilates reformer.
Our physical therapists are certified in dry needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy (AAMT). Dr. Beth & Dr. Crystal are Maitland Manual Therapy trained. Dr. Beth is Balanced Body® trained. Dr. Crystal is STOTT PILATES® trained.

Dizziness, Vertigo, & Balance
Spinning, lightheaded, foggy, off-balance, double or blurry vision. Your inner ear or vestibular system, although small is so mighty and insult to this system can throw off your world. Depending on your diagnosis your treatment may or may not include:

Client Experience
“I had been suffering from debilitating vertigo, dizziness, and neurological issues…shortly after having COVID…. After months of not being able to function due to these symptoms (and going through tons of medical tests and visiting specialists, but not getting any better), I needed to find someone who could help me. …Within two sessions, Dr. Myers completely resolved my longstanding vertigo (BPPV), and she explained that I was also experiencing cervicogenic dizziness (from my neck)... Overall, my experience with Meaningful Movement was life changing — Dr. Myers identified and resolved the problems that I had been enduring — she listened, cared about my progress and wellbeing, and helped me get my life back…”
Pelvic Floor Therapy & Women’s Health
Pelvic dysfunction can occur as a result of pregnancy, postpartum, trauma, surgery, and as a result of natural changes as we age. Women who are experiencing hip, low back, and/or pelvic girdle pain, incontinence, pelvic heaviness, and core weakness may benefit from pelvic floor therapy. Women may also benefit from consultation postpartum for guidance on return to unrestricted movement, education on what’s normal and what’s not to proactively identify and address pelvic floor dysfunction.
Our Pelvic Health Providers have completed specialized training through Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and are Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialists (PCES). Our providers incorporate manual/hands-on techniques including internal and external pelvic assessments, pilates based rehabilitation along with corrective therapeutic exercises to promote pelvic health.

“Molli treated me while I was pregnant and treats me now postpartum and has taught me so much about how to navigate strength and movement through all those phases. I always leave my appointments feeling confident in continuing to work towards bettering my body. She makes me feel empowered in knowing more about how my body is working through major changes like pregnancy and postpartum. I’ve told COUNTLESS people about my experience with Molli and truly it’s been so life changing and I am so grateful to her for everything!!”
Dry Needling & Manual Therapy
Dry needling is an efficient and effective intervention that uses acupuncture needles to target soft tissue structures that are generating pain, dysfunctional movement, and/or dizziness. This highly skilled intervention can help relax tight muscles, decrease or eliminate pain, and jumpstart the body’s natural healing process.
Manual therapy is skilled hands on care to decrease pain by releasing identified soft tissue and joint restrictions through graded mobilization techniques, deep tissue massage or trigger point release, as well as cupping.

““I am SO THANKFUL that I had Beth dry needle my Achilles’ tendon. I had been unable to run for weeks without pain and it had gotten so stiff that it bothered me constantly throughout the day. I can honestly say that with the dry needling and stretches she recommended I am completely without pain! Back to running and grateful!””
All athletes will participate in a comprehensive movement and manual therapy examination to ensure foundations of movement are in place to proactively decrease risk of injury or actively treat injuries. Emphasis is on stability, strength, and endurance; addressing soft tissue or joint restrictions with dry needling and/or manual therapy; and education to keep our athletes competing. Runners may undergo a video running analysis pending rehab response. We welcome collaboration in care with coaches and personal trainers!
